Financing Guide

Guidance on preparing for agricultural equipment financing applications in Tanzania.

Preparing for Financing

  1. Know your equipment needs: Farm size, crop type, intended use and budget.
  2. Get a formal quotation: TATDC can provide equipment quotations and specifications.
  3. Prepare your documents: ID, business/farming registration, bank statements, land/lease proof, production records.
  4. Understand your contribution: Most lenders require a customer deposit or contribution.
  5. Review your cash flow: Ensure repayment is feasible based on your farm income cycle.

Cooperative Financing

Cooperatives and AMCOS can explore group financing for equipment packages. Additional requirements may include board resolution, member registers and a business plan.

Important Reminder

TATDC provides quotation and document assistance only. Financing approval and terms are determined by the financial institution.
